Letter #2

Hey Mom and Dad and whoever reads this,

To start, I did get that package and it was very awesome thank you! So pretty much this week I have learned a ton about how to teach people. It really isnt like teaching Bunny because these people know either very little or nothing about the church. I have been teaching, we have like 4 ish "investigators" right now. Some we have been committing to baptism, but one is not. We are just not getting him to see why he needs the church so he says he wont. Its upsetting, but its good to learn now.

I do know that I am leaving the 28th now at like 6 in the morning. So im not sure how I will be doing email next tuesday because I will be traveling and meeting the mission president.

I have seen Broderick a few times since, but there is never enough time to talk and we both have completely different schedules. Dad you asked me about devotionals here. There havnt been any apostles here for that, which im okay with, but the meetings have been great anyways. We have watched previous devotionals though and i will tell you now that they are really good. i jotted down some notes so i hope i can remember the things said.

So how is it back at home? when do you guys get home, i feel like writing or normal letter may be better but i dont know yet. how are grandma and grandpa doing? how is AZ? its not very cold here, hardly a winter. i did take a few pictures of the temple that i will print later and i will take some of my district next week so you will see those pictures in a few weeks i suspect.

So i would like peoples addresses so that i can write them. Mainly Sam and Michaels, but other peoples too. I guess I will end it here because idk what else to write about. I will try to work harder this week and have the spirit to be with me.

Love You!

His First Letter...

Hey Guys!!

It has already been a week, its pretty crazy. So far I really enjoy it here. To answer moms questions, I have not had the orange juice but my companion has and it hasnt done anything to him so I assume its okay. I have seen Broderick twice so far, I didnt actually think that I would see him.

So when I first got here they put my stuff in my room and we went to my classroom. We started working right away after that going over rules and starting to teach us about missionary work. It is a lot of hard work. I met my companion there who is British and the rest of my  district. My companions name is Elder Siswick, and I wont tell you the other's names because I dont have much time. Our district is pretty close already which I didnt exactly expect. Our day usually consists with us getting up at 6 30, getting ready and then personal study or planning until 8. At 8 we eat breakfast and then we do a class or a trc, which is teaching an investigator. We eat lunch at about 12 and then after that we will have personal study or a class or gym or something. Then we have dinner about 6 and finish the night off with class or personal study. We go back to our residence at 9 30 and are in bed by 10 30. Overall we have 1 hour of gym, 1.5 hours of eating, and about 12 hours of learning, studying, or teaching. It is way hard, but surprisingly I have really learned to enjoy it here.

I like that you guys are using dear elder because i get the mail pretty soon after you send it. Please tell everyone to write me either that way or just by paper. I only have a half hour on email and i can only use it on p-day, which is today, tuesday.

Tell Brittany I say hi, I am working hard, and that she should write me and tell everyone to write me. It gets sorta lonely when my companion gets tons of mail and packages and ive gotten a few things. But its not too bad because some elders havnt gotten anything so dont worry about me.

I dont know what else to say so I will end it here. If you have questions please ask.

I love you all so much!
